Desired configuration is managed by the control plane; effective values are reported by each component. Both workers apply at safe points; structural spam changes reconcile a replacement engine before becoming effective.
Chain snapshots
Save the whole chain — blocks, chainstate, miner wallets, mempool and the active Compose profile — and restore it later instead of re-running the bootstrap. These run from your shell, not from this page.
Why not a button that just does it? Snapshotting means stopping containers and copying Docker volumes. This control plane deliberately has no Docker socket and no Docker CLI in its image — it can reach the nodes and workers only over authenticated APIs, and that boundary is asserted in CI. Giving the dashboard the power to drive the Docker stack, or nesting Docker inside Docker to fake it, is a trade this project has not made. So snapshots stay a host-side script.
